Tracks with Chack is presented by Michael Chacko – a student at Yateley Sixth Form in Hampshire, who did a week’s work experience with Sound Vault as we prepared for launch in the summer of 2017.
We thought it best to let ‘Chack’ speak for himself about the show….
“I’m Michael Chacko, a college student grinding hard to get into university and make in the world. I’m tall, like playing basketball, watching football, listening to rap, and getting lit. I’m inspired by Kobe Bryant, Roger Federer and Dan Walker. Guilty pleasures include daytime television and anything salty and potato based. Would like to give a shout out to Paul Simpson, an absolutely class guy who’s allowed me to express my passions on a platform I wouldn’t have dreamt of a few years ago. Also, a massive shout out to Jorge Latter for being one of the most genuine nice lads I have ever met and was a pleasure to present with. Anyway, lets crack on with this show bio then shall we?”
“Tracks with Chack – it’s not just a show, it’s a lifestyle. Are you bored of listening to the same type of music every day on your commute to work or school? Does your music taste have about as much variety as Britain’s Got Talent? Then hop on and join me on a ride in the rap train, a train so fast, so furious by the time you’re finished you’ll be craving more. We take you through 4 eras of rap, from 1979 to 2017, tracks that influenced generations, politicians and societies. It’s like a very exciting history lesson with less detentions, allow me and my co-presenter Jorge introduce you to all things rap and guide you into the defining tracks of the last few decades.”
